All the way back on the first weekend of September I went on an overnight hike with other Green NAU employees. The destination? Indian Garden. The mode of transportation? A 1/64 Jeep CJ.

This summer I became the coordinator for the Northern Arizona Pollinator Habitat Initiative (NAZHPI). I’ve been giving out seed packets, educating people on the importance of bees & butterflies, and drafting some cool documents.

I had taken delivery of the fatbike only a 36 days prior, and was already crossing a frozen river to explore concrete ruins and abandoned cars with my riding buddy.
